My Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing both in-person sessions at my office in Moab, Utah and teletherapy across Utah and Colorado. I offer compassionate, client-centered therapy for individuals of all ages who are navigating life’s challenges. I see therapy as a journey— sometimes challenging, but always deeply human.
Approach: My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens through presence, safety, and relationship. My approach is guided by mindfulness, curiosity, the mind-body connection and respect for each person’s natural capacity to heal. I believe that meaningful change comes through awareness—not force—and that healing happens organically when we feel safe, seen, and gently supported.
Experience: Over the years, I’ve worked in a range of settings, including schools as a social-emotional learning specialist, a healthcare clinic providing integrated care for individuals with chronic illness, and in private practice. These experiences have shaped my belief in holistic, strengths-based care that honors the whole person.
Child Therapy: When working with children, I use a blend of play, art, and talk therapy. I trust the natural wisdom of each child and the healing power of non-directive play. Children instinctively bring forward what they are ready to process, and I meet them with deep listening, empathy, and a spirit of curiosity. Through this work, I’ve supported children facing trauma, anxiety, family transitions, and school-related challenges.
About me: I have lived in many places that have shaped my sense of self- ranging from the corn fields of Ohio, Asheville NC, Philadelphia, New York City, southern Spain, Norwood CO, and now Moab, UT. I love playing in the great outdoors alongside my partner, toddler, and our goofy dogs. On a quiet day I enjoy gardening, block printing, and drinking chai tea.
